On behalf of the fantastic staff, I sincerely welcome all students to our college. Whether you are studying with us for a short time or a few years we want to make the most of your experience with us. We aim to provide the basis of your ongoing career or higher academic study pursuits in Australia. I have worked in education services in Japan and in Australia for many years. My priority is to ensure that students’ expectations are met and that learning and teaching reach the highest standards at all times.
Strathfield College takes pride in delivering excellence in teaching and training. We ensure academic staff are professional, experienced and continue to develop their skills and knowledge in their specialised areas. We ensure sales staff understand quality customer service and have the latest knowledge to manage their tasks for international students. And we make sure that we are using the latest teaching methods and classroom technologies.

I am very proud to be the Director of Studies at such a professional, friendly school. My responsibilities include the day to day running of the school and the development of our English programs. My priority is ensuring that our students have a positive experience here at Strathfield College, in terms of achieving their learning goals and benefiting from the rich cultural diversity in the College. My door is always open to students. I am passionate about the role of autonomous learning in second language acquisition, and am delighted to be overseeing our guided self study program. I consider myself lucky to be working with a team of teachers who are equally as enthusiastic about their role in ESL education as I am. Deirdre is a dedicated Business Teacher at Strathfield College and enjoys the challenging role it offers. Having a vast exposure in the business field with her extensive corporate experience in areas such as banking and finance, investment securities, manufacturing and distribution, she imparts this valuable knowledge to her students. Her teaching with culturally diversified students has led her to understand them with an open mind. She adapts easily to change and has excellent teamwork skills. This exceptional quality gained her a position as VET Director of Studies.
When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, socializing and travelling besides being a ‘busy mum’.

Juliza Lindeck | Regional Marketing Manager

Juliza has ten years experience working in marketing for a multinational company. This included one year as Branch Manager before moving to Australia. In Australia, Juliza has concentrated on the Education Industry working for educational companies for the last 5 years. She enjoys working with International students as she understands the issues that they face. In particular she likes helping students choose the best pathway for their future career and introducing new options for their studies.
In her spare time, Liza enjoys reading, travelling and cooking and eating food from around the world.
Howard Bai | Regional Marketing Manager

Howard Bai is one of the Regional Marketing Managers at Strathfield College focusing on the North Asia Market. He is also the main contact for our Sydney Jacaranda High School. He has been working in the education sector since 2000 and has a background in both marketing and teaching. As such, Howard is also a trainer with the Certificate IV of Business Administration program.
Howard graduated from the University of Sydney with a MA in applied linguistics in 2003, a Graduate Diploma in Interpreting and Translation with Distinction from University of Western Sydney in 2002, a MBA with a specialisation in Information Systems from Central Queensland University in 2001 and an undergraduate degree from Beijing Foreign studies University in 1996.
With a background in international travel for 4 years in Beijing before he pursued his postgraduate studies in Australia, Howard is fully aware of the needs of international students and endeavours to assist them to achieve their goals and learning objectives.
Tomoko Okamoto | Regional Marketing Manager

Tomoko came to Australia after completing her university studies in Japan. She has a background in both economics and management. Tomoko says "It is very exciting to experience the diversity of cultures in Australia. I am very much interested in learning languages as well! I speak English, Japanese, Korean and some Mandarin."
