I have a wide range of adult education experience as an English teacher, a Business trainer, a Director of Studies, a Compliance Manager and a Marketing Manager. As a Marketing Manager I frequently travelled to Asia and I have gained first-hand experience of the backgrounds, motivations and aspirations of international students and their parents! As a Compliance Manager I have knowledge of the demands of governments and regulators and understand their desire to maintain the excellent standards that Australia's education systems have become famous for. As a teacher, I know how to provide interesting, relevant and enjoyable learning experiences for students of all backgrounds and ages. And, also, as Director of Studies I have spent many years developing and managing a variety of English programs including IELTS, English for Specific Purposes (ESP - for Nurses, Librarians, IT and Engineers), EAL for children and teenagers, selective school students and migrants.
I am excited about working in the dynamic environment of Strathfield College, to help expand the range of choices and pathways available to students - based on their needs - and to work with our team of high-calibre teachers to make our classes the very best.
